A stunning summer garden wedding.
Annie + Patrick are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They waited 12 years for this day, and it was all so worth the wait. Annie's hair was underway when I arrived, and so I gathered up her details and headed outside to utilize the brick patio and pergola. Every single spot at this venue was just perfect! After a bit, I headed back inside to have Patrick get dressed. Once all the ladies were ready, we took a few fun pj photos, and then they all headed downstairs so Annie and her mom could get ready privately. Annie looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown!
Annie headed down the stairs and revealed her final look to the bridesmaids. There were a few tears :') Then it was time to meet Pat outside at the bridge in the garden for their first look and private vow reading. After a very sweet moment between them, we wandered around the garden for portraits. Then we met up with the wedding party for groups + individuals, and their wedding party was so much fun to work with! One of the groomsmen and one of the greeters were a previous couple of mine, and it was so fun to catch up with them just over one year since they got married. Next we quickly did the family photos in the pergola, and then everyone headed inside to cool off and take a break before guests began to arrive for the ceremony.
Everyone got into place, and it was time for the ceremony to start. Annie walking down the aisle with her mother was so lovely, and Pat's reaction was so cute! They took a moment to take a selfie with their guests and have everyone take a few photos, which was fun. Then they exchanged their rings, and gave a kiss! After a few more family formals, it was time for cocktail hour. My second photographer covered that, while I photographed the absolutely gorgeous reception tent. So many stunning details!
Right before it was time to sit for dinner, Annie + Patrick took a moment to check out the space for the first time. It was so fun getting to see their reaction to all their planning and hard work come together! Of course, we had to take a few photos with their neon sign. The guests filled in, and the wedding party made their entrance. The couple entered next, and then shared their first dance. After they cut the cake, and Annie's mom gave a welcome speech. Her speech was followed by each of the MOHs. After a really delicious dinner, we snuck out for some golden hour portraits -- and it was a 10/10 golden hour!!
We headed back in for Patrick to share a dance with his mother, and then it was time for the dancefloor to open! It was so much fun.
I am so glad Annie + Patrick found me to capture their perfect wedding day. Thanks to my second photographer, Andrew Quackenbush, for all of his help and amazing work. Cheers to A+P!
