A floral inspired downtown wedding.

I was so excited for this wedding day after I met Sarra and Tyler for their engagement session last year. I met up with them bright + early on their wedding day, starting over with Sarra's side. Sarra was just starting her hair + make up, so I grabbed her stationary, the dresses, and all the other little things and headed to the next room. After, I finished up, I headed over to the Brassworks building where Tyler was getting ready. I returned to Sarra to capture her getting into her dress. We did a quick reveal with the bridesmaids, and then it was time to go see Tyler.

Sarra planned a special surprise for their first look. Tyler was told he'd be doing a first look with her mom, but instead, it was their dog Harvey!! It was such a fun moment. Next we captured wedding party photos (which Harvey was a part of, of course). Then we went through their family group photos. Shortly after, it was time for the ceremony to begin.

Tyler + Sarra chose to do a unique unity ceremony: creating and sharing a peanut butter sandwich together. It was incredibly cute! Once the ceremony was finished, the guests headed off to cocktail hour while we made quick pit stop to Olbrich Gardens. It was an absolutely gorgeous, overcast day, so we really got to make the most of it with photos. After, we joined cocktail hour for a bit before dinner began. We enjoyed a few lovely speeches, and then it was finally time for what every single guest was waiting for: beignets!! Sarra + Tyler had such a lush dessert table and I saw so many people eyeing it up!

Then it was time for dancing, but first the couple had to change into their matching Vans. After their first dance and their dances with parents, it was time to party! And Sarra and Tyler have excellent taste in music, so I knew it was going to be a good time. It was such a fun day. I am so glad they chose me to be a part of it. Congrats to Sarra + Tyler!
