A charming wedding at Olbrich Gardens.

I met Nate + Richelle for their wedding day just as they were getting on their finishing touches. We planned to do a quick first look and stroll around the garden before the ceremony began. As they were finishing up getting ready, I snapped a few detail photos of their reception space. It was all so cute! They decided to do a book exchange in lieu of favors, which I absolutely loved. They also had boardgames scattered about the tables, which is a fun alternative way to entertain guests. I just love how their personalities really came through with their reception set up.

When they both were ready to go, I got them set up for the first look. They were so incredibly happy to see each other! After we made our way over to the ceremony space. It was so special that their siblings were able to provide the music for the ceremony! They exchanged their vows and shared a kiss, followed by one more song. Then we made our way over to get started on the family and group photos. Next, we took a little more time for couple portraits while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour and explored the gardens. It just so happened it lined up perfectly with golden hour, which was amazing!

The couple joined cocktail hour as it started to get dark, and their DJ, a friend of the couple, was kicking off the party by spinning records! It was so cool! During our delicious dinner from Banzo, we heard a few lovely speeches. The couple cut into their cake -- which was from their favorite bakery -- and it looked so delicious! Then it was time to kick off the dancefloor with a few special dances. After that, it was my time to head out.

Nate + Richelle had such a perfect day. I am so glad they found me to be a part of it. Congrats to N+R!
