Erin + Jeromey's Wedding at Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

A spring wedding in the scenic Wisconsin Dells.

Fun fact: I used to work at Chula Vista in college as a lifeguard. So getting the chance to photograph there is always a good time because it brings back so many fond memories! But enough about me, let's talk about Erin and Jeromey's magical wedding day!

I arrived bright and early to the spot where Erin and her girls were getting ready. I took her dress outside to hang it up, and it looked so stunning in the morning spring light! Then I worked on the rest of her details on the porch. Her cascading florals were just amazing! Once my second photographer, Jessica, arrived, we decided to both go over to Jeromey because we had extra time. He got dressed alongside his groomsmen, and then we headed outside to get group portraits done. When we returned to Erin, she was part way through her hair. Shortly after it was time for her to get her dress on, and then we headed out to do the bridesmaid groups.

Then it was ceremony time! Erin walked down the aisle with her father, and it was so special when Jeromey saw his bride finally. They decided to do a hand fasting ceremony, which was really neat to witness. After the ceremony, we photographed the family portraits, and then worked with the wedding party. We all headed over to the reception space which has access to the river. We finished up photos down by the river, and then it was time for cocktail hour.

The wedding party kicked off the reception with a grand entrance, followed by some amazing toasts by each of the fathers, the best man, and maid of honor. After dinner, dancing got started with the first dance. The DJ was so kind to let me crowd his space to get a few photos with the disco ball in the foreground, which I thought looked pretty cool! Then Erin shared a dance with her father. We headed outside for a few golden hour portraits after that, and then we danced the rest of the night away!
