Adam + Allie's Wedding Day
Allie + Adam's wedding day was one for the books! I arrived early to the gorgeous venue, the Bowery Barn to a beautiful sunny spring day. So of course, I had to take the details outside to utilize the lovely rustic look of the farmhouse. After, I headed in to where the girls had all started their hair & make up. My second photographer, Cara, arrived shortly after, and she headed off to the hotel, where the guys were getting ready. Allie got dressed, and once Adam arrived, it was time for the first look. We quickly did some bride and groom portraits, followed by the wedding party photos.
It was finally time for the ceremony, so everyone got in their places. Adam's reaction to Allie walking down the aisle was absolutely priceless! These two had a fairly short and sweet ceremony, sealed with a kiss. We were able to do family photos right at the ceremony spot (thank you to the extremely well timed clouds that rolled in...and then right back out after!).
We were off to cocktail hour and then a delicious meal after that. Cara and I had some time to catch up during dinner, which was awesome because it had been quite a while since I had seen her last! Allie + Adam had come up with a "kissing menu" instead of traditional clinking of the glasses, which led to some amazing singing and kissing "examples". Next were the speeches, which were all lovely. After that we headed outside to catch the sunset. It was still a bit cloudy so we were worried it wouldn't be a great sunset, but it totally was! I am so thrilled with the sunset photos, and I always advocate to sneak out for a few extra photos...they always end up being my favorites from the day! We finished off the night with some dancing, a few shots, and a super fun party!
Thanks to my second photographer, Cara Wood, and all of the outstanding vendors who helped make the day perfect.
