A timeless & elegant summer wedding day.
Neil + Talya had the best day! I am always so excited when I get to shoot at the Madison Club because it is so eclectic and gorgeous. I arrived there early in the morning, where hair + make up had already begun. I started off with Talya's details -- I am still obsessing over how pretty her dress was! Once the ladies all had finished up, we headed over to the restaurant to take some cute group photos. Then I hopped over to the hotel where Neil was getting ready.
After Neil was dressed, I met back up with Talya. Her mom assisted in getting her in her dress, and then we did a little reveal with her bridesmaids. Next it was time for the big reveal with the couple! Talya walked down the stairs where Neil waited at the bottom. Their first look was absolutely priceless. We got started right away with couple photos inside the venue, and then we headed over to the Monona Terrace for a few more. Finally, we made our way over to the capitol building, where the wedding party and family met up with us.
Once we had finished up portraits, we all headed back to the venue for cocktail hour. Neil + Talya opted for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour so they could hold their ceremony closer to sundown. During the cocktail hour, they signed the Ketubah with their parents and wedding party. Then it was time for the ceremony to begin! Talya's dad led the ceremony, which was so lovely. After the ceremony, the couple took a moment to themselves to cut the cake, and then we headed back over to the Monona Terrace for sunset photos.
During the most delicious dinner, we enjoyed a few wonderful speeches. And then it was time to party!! I just knew Neil + Talya's dancefloor was going to be fun, and it did not disappoint! Their wedding day was just so perfect, and I am so glad I was able to capture it for them. Shout out to Jessica Frigge, who assisted me with this day.
