A theatrical wedding day.

Maurice + Kelly's wedding day was incredibly unique! We started off at the hotel, where Kelly and her party were getting hair and make up done. She had a gold dress with gold details to match. Her bridesmaids were in various jewel tones. After, I popped over to check on Maurice and have him get dressed. He had a white suit, which looked amazing. I returned to the hotel for Kelly to get dressed, and then the first look. We headed up to the rooftop bar which has beautiful views of the capitol building.

Next we headed with the wedding party to Camp Randall! It was so cool getting to use the field for photos. A tour of Madison wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Memorial Terrace, so we went there next. We of course took photos with the iconic chairs. We returned to the Orpheum for Kelly and Maurice to share their private vows. It was a really lovely moment for the two of them. Then it was time for the show to begin!

Guests gathered in the audience and the wedding party got into places behind the stage. The ceremony itself was so fun, complete with a ring warming ceremony. After, the guests headed to cocktail hour in the lobby, and we popped out onto state street to grab some family photos. Soon after it was time for dinner to begin. It was a delicious buffet from Beef Butter BBQ. The couple visited with their guests, and everyone mingled.

The next item was for the band to begin! Failure to Launch put on an amazing show. If you're considering hiring a live band for your wedding, I highly recommend doing it and considering Failure to Launch. I ended up staying til the very end! Such a great show, and such a great wedding day. It was truly one for the books!
