Andrew + Erika's Wedding Day

I was so excited about this wedding day, because I knew it was going to be a great day! I arrived bright and early to AC Hotel, where the whole wedding party was getting ready. I started with the ladies in Erika's suite, and got started on her dress and details. Shortly after, I checked in on Andrew, and photographed his details. My second photographer, Jessica, arrived soon after, so she stuck with the groom to capture him getting dressed. Meanwhile, Erika got into her gown.

We all headed to Allen Centennial Garden for the first look, which was a great location because it is directly across from the church where the ceremony was to be held. After the couple took a moment to take it all in, we started on wedding party photos. Next, we worked through the family photos, and then walked around the garden for the couple portraits. We headed to the church for a few more family formals and couple portraits.

After the ceremony, Erika and Andrew had a get-a-way car to escort them to the reception. The reception was held at the Goodman Community Center, and my second photographer went over early to grab detail photos before guests arrived for cocktail hour. During cocktail hour, the couple and I stepped out for a few more portraits, and then continued to mingle until it was time for their grand entrance.

After a very delicious meal, speeches began. Each the maid of honor, the best man, Erika's father, and Andrew's father gave lovely speeches. Then the couple shared a dance with their parents jointly, and then their first dance as a married couple. Then it was time to dance the night away!

This was such a special wedding day, and it was truly so beautiful. It was a pleasure to be a part of it! Special thanks to Jessica Frigge, who was the second photographer for the day.

Note: Andrew + Erika have chosen to keep photos of guests + their ceremony private.
