Emily + Jacob's Wedding Day
Jacob and Emily’s wedding was so wonderful and glamorous! The ladies and I started off bright and early at the most charming little inn (which was only available due to the reschedule, so it was meant to be!). It made for a perfect backdrop for the detail photos – that staircase is so cute! After, I headed over to the hotel where Jake was getting ready with his groomsmen. After he finished up, we got into position for the first look. When Jake saw Emily in her beautiful wedding dress, it was so lovely! It was all smiles!
We made a stop at the library in town, which is so gorgeous and perfect for the wedding party photos. Then we made our way to the church for the ceremony to begin. The church was absolutely stunning! Jake walked down the aisle with his mom, smiling the whole way! The whole ceremony was nothing but smiles, and it just made me SO happy to finally get to watch these two get married! After vows, rings, and a kiss, it was official!
We took family formals, a few more wedding party photos at the church, and then the bride and groom portraits around town before a break for lunch. Then, I headed over to Becket’s to get photos of the reception hall and details. Guests began to arrive and mingle, and Emily and Jake and I stepped out for a few quick more photos at the venue.
When we came back in, it was time for the grand entrance. Emily and Jake made their entrance to the very fitting “At Last”, complete with confetti and all! We had a wonderful meal, heard some lovely speeches, and then cut the cake. And cake cutting was such a moment, as their guests all came over to watch and cheer it on (or maybe they just REALLY wanted some of those donuts…either way, it was awesome)! The dance was SO fun - a balloon drop, heart hammers, and a sparkler exit! Plus, it always warms my heart to see past clients at weddings - it was so awesome to catch up with Cara + Josh! Although I know it’s been SO hard over the past few years to have to reschedule and re-plan, it still all felt so perfect.
