Andrea + Connor's Wedding Day

This was such an exciting day! Andrea is an event planner, so I knew it was going to be a great day. The morning started out slow, with Andrea in hair and make up, and then she assisted her sister with hers. I got started right away on details, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the tiling at the venue matched the color scheme of the wedding! Once my second photographer arrived, he assisted me with hanging Andrea's dress upstairs. We captured the rest of the venue details that were set up after. It was time for the pair to get dressed. Andrea got ready with the help of her mother, and Connor's mother assisted with his boutonniere.

Andrea did a first look with her father, and the moment was so sweet. Next it was time for the first look with Connor. They took the moment in, and hugged each other. Next we started on family portraits and wedding party portraits. Then we worked our way around the venue, and out front of the venue for couple portraits. Shortly after, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Andrea and Connor warned me that it would be a really quick ceremony, and they weren't kidding! I think it set a record as shortest for me - four minutes from start to finish! It left more time to mingle and relax.

After a receiving line, cocktail hour kicked off in the room next door, complete with a gorgeous spread of snacks. The couple put out a crossword puzzle that included trivia about them, which was really entertaining for the guests. We all sat for dinner after, and only snuck away for a private cake cutting moment. The DJ kicked off the dancing portion of the evening with the mother/son, father/daughter, and first dance. Next was the anniversary dance, and Andrea's grandparents were the last on the dancefloor. As snow continued to fall, everyone danced the night away.

Andrea and Connor shared such a special wedding day. I am so incredibly happy for them! Shout out to Erik Weiss, who photographed this day with me.
