A bright Sunday morning micro-wedding.
I met Derek + Derek for the first time the morning of their ceremony. They were dressed and ready to go, and only had to pin on each other's boutonnieres before we began with photos. Shortly after a few couple's portraits, we headed up to the ceremony spot to get chairs set up. Family slowly began to arrive, and by 11 am, everyone was seated for the ceremony to begin.
It was a short and sweet ceremony, consisting of Derek and Derek's vows to each other, an exchanging of rings, and a kiss. After, we went through the family portraits, and a few more couple's portraits. We headed outside, and it was surprisingly warm out for a March day. Their family had already headed over to Heritage Tavern, and we took a few more pictures on our way over. I hung out for a bit at the restaurant as Derek and Derek mingled with their guests, and then I left them to the rest of their day. After lunch, they were joined by friends at Square Wine.
It was a lovely ceremony, and I am so glad they found me. Congratulations to Derek + Derek!
