A cozy, wintery wedding day.
Anna + Daniel had a very thoughtful and intentional wedding day. Each piece of the day felt true to them, and guest experience forward. I arrived shortly before the ceremony to do a quick first look and portraits. The couple really wanted a true cozy evening vibe for the ceremony, so they held it as the sun was setting. It was an absolutely gorgeous and heartwarming ceremony. After, the guests made their way downstairs to enjoy cocktail hour. Near the end of cocktail hour, I made my way upstairs to photograph the reception room. The couple had a champagne wall waiting for their guests as they found their seats.
I was especially excited to try the food at this wedding, because it was completely vegan and catered by The Vibrant Veg, a local chef who I had been dying to try the food of. And it was so good! During the wonderful meal, we heard a few lovely speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and fathers. We slowly made our way back to downstairs for the dancefloor to open up. Also downstairs was the dessert - all of the cookies were baked by Anna herself. The couple shared their first dance, which was really sweet. Then it was time for dancing!
